Get to know Dr. Hoon
Divya Hoon joined Uptown Pediatrics in 2025. She completed her residency in the rigorous Triple Board Program at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she trained in pediatrics, general psychiatry, and child & adolescent psychiatry. She served as Chief Resident and brings a unique blend of medical and mental health expertise to our team.
Dr. Hoon graduated with honors in biochemistry from Bowdoin College and earned her medical degree with distinction in research from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She has published multiple research studies in both pediatrics and oncology and has presented her work at national conferences.
In addition to pediatric well and sick visits, Dr. Hoon's areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, postpartum mood issues, and ADHD management. She is particularly interested in the interplay between medical illness and mental health. She is a mom herself and is excited to be back in her hometown caring for the next generation of New Yorkers.
